Hello! We would like to introduce the Dragonfly Initiative! Our project is facilitated through MINDS and consists of group members with lived mental health experience and an interest in mental health and systems navigation.

Our project focuses on art and how creating and displaying art can improve the mental health of those affected by the mental health system. One of our goals is to make mental health spaces less institutional through art to brighten the space and bring hope to those who go there. We hope to connect with people in the community who do art or appreciate art and would like to participate in our project!

In the future, we plan to host an event at which local artists and those with lived experience with mental health can display their art in the community. The artists will have the option to donate their art to mental health and crisis spaces. We hope to bring an inclusive and fun vibe to mental health spaces.

If you would like more information, stay tuned! We will be posting blog posts regularly!
