True Talk Lndn is a podcast that will be based around interviewing and having conversations with people who have lived experience and/or professionals within the mental health and addictions field.
We will be inviting guests on our podcast who have experience with different mental illnesses, addictions and/or homelessness.

Our goal is to give others a platform to share their stories to help our listeners/viewers feel less alone in their own journey with mental health and to learn what resources are within the London Ontario region.
Our team is very passionate about this project because we all feel like being able to relate to others with lived experiences help us in our own lives and journey. Hearing other peoples stories help us feel heard, understood, and learn what has helped others in similiar situations.

Since the August event, when our committee was formed, we have met to discuss many things such as:

  • Finalizing the podcast name
  • Creating a guest intake form
  • How we can support our guests before and after
  • Brainstorm designing a logo
  • Different media type formats for the podcast
  • Expectations and ideas for the set.
