Exciting Updates from the True Talk Lndn Team!
The True Talk Lndn team has been hard at work behind the scenes since November, and we’re thrilled to share that we’re so close to recording and launching our very first episode!
Since our last update, we’ve made some significant strides. We’ve secured all of the equipment needed to create top-notch content, finalized our logo, and are putting the finishing touches on our branding. Plus, we’ve set up our social media accounts, so when the time comes, we’ll be ready to hit the ground running!
Of course, no journey is without its bumps. We did face a brief setback when some of our equipment was delayed in shipping. Unfortunately, the delivery date was pushed back a few times, but we’re happy to report that everything has now arrived and we’re back on track.
Next on the agenda? Recording our episodes, editing them to perfection, and, of course, preparing for our upcoming launch. We can’t wait to share our passion project with you all and we’re so grateful for the support we’ve received so far.
Stay tuned for more updates – the countdown to our first episode has officially begun!

True Talk Lndn is a podcast that will be based around interviewing and having conversations with people who have lived experience and/or professionals within the mental health and addictions field.
We will be inviting guests on our podcast who have experience with different mental illnesses, addictions and/or homelessness.
Our goal is to give others a platform to share their stories to help our listeners/viewers feel less alone in their own journey with mental health and to learn what resources are within the London Ontario region.
Our team is very passionate about this project because we all feel like being able to relate to others with lived experiences help us in our own lives and journey. Hearing other peoples stories help us feel heard, understood, and learn what has helped others in similiar situations.
Since the August event, when our committee was formed, we have met to discuss many things such as:
- Finalizing the podcast name
- Creating a guest intake form
- How we can support our guests before and after
- Brainstorm designing a logo
- Different media type formats for the podcast
- Expectations and ideas for the set.
